Narrow multifunction relay for 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs via RS232
This slim multi-function relay, also known as an "RS232 relay", connects 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs to a serial RS232 interface. Inputs and outputs are galvanically isolated by optocouplers. Both the input channels and outputs are mutually isolated. The outputs use PCN-124D3MHZ relays. Additional optocouplers isolate the relays from the rest of the circuit, largely preventing feedback caused by capacitive coupling between the contacts and coil system.
